My first reaction was something like: 0_0
My second one: O___O
REALLY NOT WHAT I EXPECTED. BUT OH SO COOL. Like withchemina42's, there's a modern-art feel to it (though I don't know any terms/names to help me explain that thought)! There's such a bizarre juxtaposition of solid, black squares (fixed in; tight; repressed?) with splashes of color. I don't know if this was intentional, but the square-colorsplash combo feels like a representation of the difficult of self-expression in a world of rigidl defined rules/roles. Which is perfect for Go Baby Go, because it is about Wilson/Jamie trying to be himself while still sticking to society norms, and House trying to understand Wilson's/Jamie's need for that.
The portraits of House/Lafayette and Wilson/Jamie remind me of sketches by Yoshitaka Amano: fanciful, whimsical, fluid. And, man, you managed to not only make them look like themselves, but add the effect of make-up/dolling up. They're in black and white, which makes me wonder why, given the color elsewhere... to draw attention to them, perhaps? I'm also wondering about the eyes in the middle of the piece: they look like House's, to me, but I think they could be anyone's. They seem to be worried, which could fit any of the characters in the fic, so I'll take it as showing/representing everyone. >3
The more I look at it, the more taken in I am. ♥ Thank you for this creative, expressive piece. Like I said before, it's not at all what I would've imagined, but it feels very right.
